Denmark: Islamists Seize Power In Kindergarten
In Denmark, the national branch of the international Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir makes no secret of its contempt for Jews, Western values and the politics of the West. On August 17, 2006 Fadi Abdullatif, leader of Danish Hizb ut-Tahrir, was sentenced to three months' jail for threatening the Danish Prime Minister, Anders Fogh Rasmussen in leaflets which were distributed in 2004. These fliers had called for the elimination of any Western leaders who tried to prevent Muslims from going to Iraq to fight the coalition troops. Abdullatif was additionally found guilty under anti-racism laws of calling for the killing of Jews on the Hizb ut-Tahrir website.
Now, Hizb ut-Tahrir in Denmark has shown its radical side in the way it has behaved in relation to a kindergarten. The following article appeared in Jyllands-Posten and Berlingske Tidende.
The translation was made by our good friend and contributor from Denmark, WIking.

Hizb ut-Tahir seize power in Kindergarten
Men from Hizb ut-Tahir have seized power in a privately owned kindergarten in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen. They demand that children are not taught democratic values. The authorities threaten to close the institution down.
The municipal administration of Copenhagen has under dramatic circumstances taken over the administration of the institution and threatens to close it down, according to a report in the Danis newspaper 'Berlingske Tidende'
This unusual step has been taken after parents and members of the Islamistic party Hizb ut-Tahir earlier this year have gained majority in the governing board and taken control over the institution named Salam, and demand that the children are not taught according to democratic values.
The parents have also demanded segregation, different playground for boys and girls. Last year, furious parents demanded the destruction of Christmas related items the children had picked up at a visit to the zoo, claiming the Santa Claus headgear represent Christian values.
In February, after Hizb ut-Tahir gained the upper hand in the board, the leader of the institution quit her job together with another pedagogue. The institution is now lead by a team of 6 believing Muslim women, which has lead the auditors of the municipality of Copenhagen to raise the alarm. The municipality has now taken direct control over the place until a new leadership has been appointed.
"It is unquestionably the tension between what is called pious or fundamentalistic Islam and traditional Danish democratic thought that is at the core of this conflict. The municipality has on other occasions experienced conflicts in its institutions, also religious conflicts, but never has the tension been as high as now", says Jan Dehn of 'Children and Youth office'.
One of the leading members of the parents group, the convert Abdul Hamid Henrik Lund, confirms his connection with Hizb ut-Tahir: "All the parents are what the Danes will call fanatics. We are Muslims and determined that 'the brain of our children get the right programming' (sic). We don't want them to 'run about on Blagards Plads (a square in Copenhagen), behaving like monkeys' (sic). Those children cause trouble because they have neither Danish nor Muslim roots. To us it is important that children grow up with values - they must know what is halal and haram."

All deniminations have the right to run kindergartens for their children. Including Muslims. No one is entiltled to intervene in their methods of raising them. If there is a private institution -like Salam Kindergarten in Coppenhagen-, the public authorities should rather support them then oppose them. It is not a question of politics. The Hizb-ut-Tahrir might be an extremist group, but their children are not for sure. The Danish government and its agencies should be happy, because this kindergarten does what is normally the job the government.

The children are not extremist? Perhaps not in the sense that they will carry out extremist activity.
But if they are being radicalized by anti-Semitic Hizb ut-Tahrir propaganda and anti-Christian behaviour regarding "Santa Claus" headgear obtained from a visit to a zoo, then it is an issue for the Danish government.
In a Christian democratic country, attitudes which deliberately antagonize or show contempt for the majority of the population ARE, in the long term, harmful and divisive.
Muslims should really question why they choose to live in Western, democratic Christian countries, if all they hold is contempt for those societies.
Are the reasons economic? Or are they political? Are these parents the advance vanguard of more politicised Islamists who would aim to undermine democracy - the stated aims of Hizb ut-Tahrir?
If so, then Muslim immigrants should be subjected to more stringent vetting procedures.
"When in Rome, do as the Romans do".
If that maxim is unapplicable for Muslims who seek to rely upon state welfare (health and housing) while demanding "Muslim-only" policies for their and their children's lives, such people should never have considered migrating to the West in the first place.

Not to accept anything what is not conform with one's relegion is a right normally. Zoo personel must be more careful while giving Christian-related items to Muslim children. This what we call proselityzing. And noone should be upset when it noted by Muslims. The government has nothing to do with what is going on inside a religious community over a headgear.
Denmark is secular nation, NOT a Christian one. In Denmark, as in the West, Muslims are there because it is their homecountry ("patria" if you speak about the Romans). They were born there or they were brought there.
One is right to say that Muslims should not rely on government welfare policies. They should work and by doing this show good example to the rest of Western societies.

In general, yes. When I am shopping, or eating out, I avoid products labelled "halal", and do not eat at outlets displaying "Halal Certification". That is a choice I make, in accordance with Acts 15:29, which burdens me to abstain from eating meats offered to idols ("Allah"). However, I do not "demand the destruction" of the idolatrous "halal" meat, and the onus is on me to notice the halal label or certificate and simply not choose it.
In the free market, this is generally possible; schools, hospitals and prisons are tending to offer all-halal food to students, patients & inmates, to cater for a vocal Muslim minority.
Perhaps, as in the Zoo example above, schools, prisons and hospitals should be "more careful" when offering food sacrificed to idols ("Allah")
to non-Muslims.

One fact, not mentioned in the article, is that this kindergarten receives public funding. It is privately run, but receives a public subsidy for each child. Also, there are laws regulating what should and what should not be taught in the publicly funded school system.

Another thing, not mentioned in the article. The children in this kindergarten are not "Muslims". They are of mixed ethnic and religious background.
The Hizb ut-Tahr attempts to impose Islam on every single one of them.

In Europe we are steadily learning that passive liberalism is equivalent to good men doing nothing. In other words if we just ignore the advance of Islamic culture in our nations we will allow evil to triumph.
Being a real liberal means for example actively promoting equality between the sexes. Tolerance in itself is NOT liberal.

As soon as muslims become a majority anywhere, all talk of "inter faith dialogue" tolerance for minority religions etc goes out of the window.
This should be a wake up call to those idiots on the far Left.

Since when are Christmas festivals or decoration offensive for anybody ?????????? Do I feel offensed myself when I am offered the soup of Ramadan by my friends ? They are not offended when we celebrate Christmas together, either ! It's not even a question of minority in the midst of a majority ; it's only a question of respecting the traditions of the other when they are NOT harmful. I love the soup of Ramadan : it is delicious and it is NOT harmful. Planes on the twin towers ARE harmful. Indoctrination of small children IS harmful. Anti-semistism IS harmful. The headscarf IS harmful for women. Etc.
If these "teachers" of a state-subsidied school feel offended by Christmas headgears, why don't they leave Denmark to go to a country where there is NO Christmas ?

Oh dear. Children can be molded good or bad, even into dangerous little twits at war with the mainstream. Events such as these only serve to prise open the eyes of sleepy European local authorities to threats, however surreal, to our superior Western values.
Hurray for Xaragma's post, 'allah' = idol. First century Roman travellers witnessed the 'Arabi' circling anticlockwise a cube-shaped building, housing the remains of a meteorite, and that's all islam is, a reinactment of primitive bedouin tribalism.

There have been a man called V.I. Lenin,
who in the case like this should have asked-
Who benefits in the situation like this,
I mean in cash?
I only can add another question-
who pays for the unumerable muslims come to Europe?
Hopefully there is an answer in time.
