Saudi Arabia: Four Sri Lankans Beheaded
Reader GW from Sri Lanka, who wrote to us about the story, asks us to highlight this barbaric Islamic practice. That I'll do, but I also wonder: how come so many of those executed in Saudi Arabia are foreigner workers?

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia on Monday beheaded four Sri Lankans convicted of committing armed robbery, the state-run news agency said.The four men were convicted of "forming a criminal gang which robbed a number of companies and threatened accountants and workers with weapons, shooting one of them and stealing his car," the kingdom's official Saudi Press Agency reported, citing an interior ministry statement.[...]

Surely this is just more islamophobia, like the Saudi executions of wiccan women last year, just mean spirited xenophobia trying to give sharia law a bad name :P We can't suck their backsides hard enough, even if all their wealth is based on a sham of vastly overstated oil reserves.
