Norway: Somalis In Oslo Supporting Islamists
A report from Aftenposten highlights the need to fully understand if immigrants really do share the values of the cultures they choose to live within. There are 8,000 Somalis who have Norwegian citizenship. Most came seeking shelter during the years of chaos which followed the 1991 ouster of Mohamed Siad Barre.
Aftenposten chose one of the Somali cafes in Oslo to gauge opinions from the customers within. One individual, banging on a table, said: "If the Ethiopians continue to occupy Somalia, we won't sit here. We will go back to Somalia and fight as one!"
Another said: "I have been in contact with my relatives in Mogadishu. Ethiopian soldiers are already raping women and cutting the throats of civilians in the city. It is all in return for their humiliating defeat in 1977." He was making reference to Somalia's illegal invasion of Ethiopia's Ogaden region, where many ethnic Somalis live.
Most agreed with the comments, and state that relatives in Somalia say that life under the Islamists was better than the warlord-dominated lawlessness which preceded.
However, not all feel the same way. The Somalian Council in Norway represents 11 smaller groups. Its head, Shirdon M. Abdikarim, claims that the council supports the transitional government, which was formed by the UN in 2004.
He stated that a number of Somali refugees have returned to their homeland recently, but is unaware of how many have done so.

Wow, WHY are 8,000 terrorists allowed to be called Norwegian "citizens"?
They are as much Norwegian as I am Mongolian.
Paper citizenship means nothing.
These people are all potential islamic bombers who care 0 for Norway or its culture.
Somalia is free now so send them back to join their jihadist brothers to be slaughtered by the Ethiopians.
