US: Muslims Protest Accurate Portrayal of Their Religion
The Islamic effort to blind the American people to the truth about Islam has hit a roadblock in Baltimore. Some local public schools have dared deviate from the official doctrine that Islam is a religion of Peace and Tolerance. Muslims, naturally, have protested at this unprecedent turn of events. What are the Muslims' objections? Let's look at them.
1. Calling Muhammad ibn Abdullah "Muhammad" instead of "Prophet Muhammad" is disrespectful.
This one is so obvious an attempt to impose the Muslim judgement on the pupils that it deserves no further rebuke.
2. The meaning of Jihad.
The Muslim 'activist' advances the canard that since 'jihad' means 'struggle', then it doesn't mean holy war. Well, I believe Walid Shoebat has said it best; yes, jihad means 'struggle', but so does Mein Kampf! In other words, refering to the original meaning of a word is an attempt to confuse, as the Islamic doctrine and practice of Jihad is well documented. Muhammad ordered an armed struggle against the unbelievers until Islam reigned supreme.
3. The Muslim agitator also objects to the depiction of Islam as a religion that embraces force. He refers to the Islamic prohibition of forced conversions.
People who raise this objection are quick to forget the triple choice given to unbelievers; conversion, subjugation, or death. That is use of force, no matter how do you wish to portray it.
And they are even quicker to forget the choice given to the Pagan Arabs; conversion or death. Muhammad didn't give his fellow Arabs the choice of Dhimmitude--they had to accept him as the prophet of God of die. Most of them chose conversion. It is a sad reflection of our times that the false view that Islam abhors forced conversions is the prevalent one.
