Saudi Arabia: Islamist Laws Sentence Rape Victim To 90 Lashes
A bizarre example of the incompatibility of Islamic justice with Western standards of justice is reported by Deutsche Presse Agentur in the Jerusalem Post. A woman who was a victim of gang rape was sentenced to 90 lashes because she was alone in a car with a man she was not married to when the assault occurred.
Four Saudi males were found guilty of gang-raping the woman, and were sentenced to prison terms. The al-Qateef high court additionally sentenced them to lashes. One man got five years' jail and 1,000 lashes. Another will receive four years and 800 strokes of the whip, another had a four-year jail term imposed and 350 lashes, and the fourth rapist received one year and 80 lashes.
A fifth man, who took footage of the rape on his mobile phone, is under investigation. Two other men who took part in the rape have not been caught.
The woman and her male friend had been followed to their car, kidnapped, and taken to a farm, where the woman was gang-raped.
The male friend of the woman has also been sentenced to 90 lashes, for being in a car with a woman to whom he was not married.
And we allow the Saudis to sponsor mosques in the West to spread this insane ideology.

It hurts to read about the amount of rapes committed as if someone was giving out cotton candy. So very sad.
