UK: Muslim Terror Suspect In Transvestite Burka Disguise
The issue of Muslim women wearing the face-covering veil (nikab), was brought up by former foreign secretary Jack Straw last week. His comments provoked an avalanche of Muslim condemnation, as well as carping from his own colleagues in government.
Among these was John Prescott, the Jabba the Hutt look-alike and genitally-challenged deputy prime minister, who said on the BBC: "I fear sometimes people might use it in a more prejudiced way and I am concerned it may damage relations rather than improve them."
Another item clothing worn by Muslim women in Britain is the burka, which in its Afghan form does not even allow the eyes to be seen. This item is banned in five Belgium towns. The hideous image depicted here is the hideous Yvonne Ridley, who converted to Islam while a prisoner of the Taliban, and now promotes extreme Islam. In her role as traitor she urges Muslims to avoid cooperating with the police.
Back in the days of the ouster of the Taliban, BBC reporter John Simpson, who towers at six feet, disguised himself in a burka to enter Afghanistan. Recently there have been terrorist attacks by men dressed in women's clothing. In Iraq last November, three terrorists in women's clothing were shot dead at a checkpoint, and in a separate incident, six other tranny terrorists shot and killed six police officers at a checkpoint in the town on Buhriz, 35 miles north of Baghdad. This summer, the tactic has been used by transvestite Al Qaeda terrorists in Afghanistan and the head-sawing Abu Musab al-Zarqawi also used to dress in women's clothing to avoid capture.
So, it should come as no surprise to find that a British Muslim terror suspect has, inevitably, done exactly that - dressed himself up in a burka to avoid capture by anti-terror forces. The incident is described by the Times and the Daily Mail. In his all-enveloping female disguise, the suspect avoided detection for several days.
Wanted on several serious terror charges, the man's true identity was circulated to ports and airports, before he was finally caught. His name has not been released to avoid prejudicing his upcoming trial, but he now resides in a British prison, as do 90 other terror suspects.
This is the first time that a male suspect is known to have done this, and will add to the debate over the face-disguising clothing - the burka and the nikab, which is now raging across Britain. The Times states that the issue of such Muslim disguise " has also posed difficulties for banks, immigration authorities and benefit offices. But questions of security have tended to be overruled by the need to maintain good community relations."
Shahid Malik, Labour MP for Dewsbury, tried to play down the incident, saying: "If this is true, then it is the first case of its kind in Britain and an isolated incident. We must not get hysterical about it. There have been many hundreds of cases where robberies have been committed by men wearing women’s stockings on their heads - but no one is talking about banning stockings."
Such a trite comparison is meaningless. Wearing a stocking over the face is instantly suspicious and would draw police and public attention. Muslims expect the British public to automatically accept the use of the burka or nikab, no matter how offensive or scary these may seem to some, on the Muslims' own terms.
