UK: PC Police Must Consult With Muslims Before Terror Raids

For some reason, even though they only comprise 3% of the population, Muslims are being treated as if they are somehow above the laws which affect other mere mortals in Britain. When the IRA was mounting vicious bombing campaigns in Britain, no-one thought that any leaders of Irish nationalist groups needed to be consulted before any anti-terrorism raids.

But today, the Sunday Times reveals that, starting tomorrow, there will be a panel of four Muslims set up in London. And before any terrorism raids can be mounted, the Metropolitan Police will have to consult with the panel.

And tomorrow, there will be discussions about extending this concept to other regional forces across Britain. The Metropolitan police and the Muslim Safety Forum (MSF) came up with the idea, which apparently has been under discussion for two years.

It became a priority issue after the raids on a Forest Gate address on June 2 caused Muslims to whine about how they were being made targets. Our illustration was produced by Islamist group Al Ghurabaa, a group which was banned in July by the Home Secretary, John Reid.

The chairman of MSF, Azad Ali, said: "The major concern that came to us from Muslims was that the intelligence was flawed - the raid was on assumption and nothing else. This will allow independent scrutiny of intelligence."

So Muslim representatives, not elected by the people, not qualified as police officers, will be allowed to scrutinize evidence which will be of a highly sensitive nature. The representatives on the panel will be "security vetted" and will be sworn to not reveal any of the intelligence material they are shown.

Sir Ian Blair, who resisted calls for his resignation last year when an innocent Brazilian was mistaken for a terrorist and "executed" on a London tube train, is said to be backing this move.

Maybe when the police wish to make raids upon any Welsh people, they should consult with Welsh nationalists? Or perhaps have a panel of feminists to decide which women the police are allowed to arrest?

The Times article does not state specifically if this initial panel of Muslims will be able to veto any raid. If there is an issue of imminent public safety, will the assembling of this panel hinder public safety?

The police chiefs who allowed this to take place - and specifically Sir Ian Blair - should be forced into early retirement, or demoted to walking the beat. It is an affront to the training and experience of police specialists, it is an affront to democracy and it is a politically correct degradation of the principles of law and order.

It is time the British public woke up to what their society is becoming.

I am awake to the dangers of pandering to islam, as I am sure are many others. There are increasingly more anti-islam / multicult remarks in the on-line comments and dead-tree-press. The powers-that-be seem determined to wilfully ignore the concerns of ordinary citizens. They will not, however, be able to ignore the local council election results next year.

Hello white Myrddin.

This seems to be turning into a regular Welsh society. What with John Humphreys, icWales, me, now you ...

Is it going to take we Celts to sort this mess out? The Anglos don't seem to be displaying an awfully great sense of urgency, do they? Complacency bred of centuries of dominance perhaps? That's a thought that only just occurred to me. I wonder?

One good thing: I see more and more comments from more and more new names on these sorts of sites - and that includes Anglos, so maybe they're waking up at last. People like Omar Brookes may have a lot to do with it - which is where John Humphreys came in.

Perhaps there's something in the notion of "The Warrior Race"? Scots, Welsh, Irish, Bretons, Cornish ...
