Israel: Muslims Attack Churches
ICWales reports on the reactions of various Muslim representatives who are demanding further apologies from the Pope, such as Mahmoud Ashour of Cairo's Al-Azhar University.
More important than the opinions of braindead Islamists are the actions of braindead Islamists in Gaza and the West Bank, where anger at Pope Benedict XVI's speech, in which he criticised violent jihad as ungodly are leading to demonstrations of Muslims' perception of Godly behaviour - violently attacking churches.
In Tulkarem on the West Bank, a 170-year old stone church was attacked by Muslims, and its interior was gutted. In Tubas, again in the West Bank, a church was attacked with firebombs and partially burned.
Yesterday, Palestinian Muslims threw firebombs and sprayed gunfire at five churches in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in protest at the Pope's speech.
According to Ynet News the Christians in Gaza, who only number 3,000 and have been victims of Muslim attack for at least a decade, have tried to side with their oppressors. These Christians have condemned the Pope's comments in his Regensburg speech from Tuesday (12 September) and have urged him to apologise.
On Friday in Gaza, the door of a church office belonging to the Greek Orthodox Church was hit by a grenade attack from Palestinian Islamists.
