UK: Forest Gate Muslim Arrested Today For Child Pornography

We reported earlier that one of the two brothers who was taken away from a raid in a house in Lansdown Road, Forest Gate in east London on June 2 was being investigated in connection with child pornography.
23-year old Mohammed Abdul Kahar (right in the picture), was shot in the shoulder, an action which led to a backlash from extremist Muslims, and criticism from the extremist-supporting Muslim Council for Britain.
The News of the World had carried the story about the images of child pornography found on a computer taken from the premises, which were believed to have been uploaded by Mohammed Abdul Kahar.
Now, the Times' breaking news section reports that Mohammed Abdul Kahar was arrested earlier today on suspicion of possessing and making child abuse images.
He is currently in custody, held by Scotland Yard's Child Abuse Investigation Command in a London police station. A police spokesman said: "Following advice from the Crown Prosecution Service a man in his 20s has been arrested by officers from the Metropolitan Police Child Abuse Investigation Command. The man, who attended a London police station by appointment, has been arrested on suspicion of possession, and making of, child abuse images."
The News of the World had also mentioned that officers involved in the Operation Volga raid on June 2 had asserted that Kahar's younger brother, 20-year old Abul Koyair, had attempted to grab the gun held by the officer who fired the shot. It was claimed that this action caused the gun to fire.
The Times today repors that the police marksman who shot Kahar will not be charged. A report by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) found that there was no evidence of "intent or recklessness" on the officer's part.
Apparently the marksman was wearing two pairs of gloves, as a precaution against exposure to chemical agents. An intelligence tip-off that the brothers had a chemical bomb had led to the raid by 250 officers. He also had the gun's safety-catch released, complying with police guidelines for "high risk entry". The gun was a Heckler and Koch MP5 carbine, and the account by the marksman corroborates the News of the World claim.
The marksman, called B6 in the report, said he collided with two people "approaching from his right at high speed", which made him lose his balance and hit the wall. The report states: "B6 says that he was aware of person(s) pulling at his right arm. He states that he feared that the person(s) were trying to take his weapon, and that he feared for his life."
The family of the two Bangladeshi-origin brothers are currently being housed at the Metropolitan Police's expense in the Holiday Inn at King's Cross. The charges work out at £30,000 ($56,243) per month, not including the additional expenses for "extras". These include clothing allowance (£200 or $377), "contingencies and financial commitments" (£10,000 or $18,856), as well as taxi fares for family members to go to counseling sessions, boarding fees for their cat Tommy (who has fortunately been found) and fees for removal and storage of their belongings.

Why the Holiday Inn? Won't some B&B take them in? And as for the rest - I agree with boarding fees for Tommy al-moogie, who is an innocent here. Otherwise, let them pay their own bills like the rest of us.
