UK: British Islamist Predicts Another 7/7 Attack

Lying bastard

We reported yesterday that Britain's Home Secretary, John Reid announced that he would be banning four Islamist groups under the terms of the Terrorism Act 2006, subject to approval from both Houses in parliament.

Two of these groups are British, the Saved Sect and Al Guhrabaa (the strangers). These two groups are offshoots of the group Al Muhajiroun, which was disbanded in late 2004, and headed by Omar Bakri Mohammed. Last year, less than a month after the 7/7 bombings in London, Abu Izzadeen spoke on BBC's Newsnight program. Izzadeen is a leading figure in both organisations. He praised Osama bin Laden and spoke of the London bombings as "martyrdom operations".

Today, the Telegraph reports that the leader of Al Ghurabaa, Anjem Choudary accused the Home Office of "militarising" Muslims and driving them underground. He also threatened that an attack like 7/7 would happen again.

Choudary said: "If it reaches a situation when the life and the wealth of the people is violated then what happened on 7/7 could very well reoccur. People like us are trying to prevent another 7/7, but it seems to me the Government are fuelling more of a frenzy within the Muslim community. Ultimately they are fermenting more of the same of what took place on 7/7. There is no evidence to suggest we are anything other than an ideological and political movement."

If people like Choudary were really trying to prevent another 7/7, then his friend Abu Izzadeen would not be glorifying the deaths of the 52 people who died on London Transport last year.

Furthermore, Anjem Choudary organised the demonstration against the Danish cartoons of the paedophile "prophet" Mohammed. At this demonstration, held at the Danish embassy in Chelsea on February 3.

This demonstration was notorious for having placards, made with the authorisation of Choudary, which stated: "Behead those who insult Islam", "Europe. Take some lessons from 9/11", "Europe you will pay. Demolition is on its way", "Europe you will pay. Your extermination is on its way," "Slay those who insult Islam," "Butcher those who insult Islam."

That does not sound to me like Choudary is the sort of person who is " trying to prevent another 7/7". He was given a trivial fine for holding this illegal demonstration on July 4. Within two days, he declared that he would not report any potential suicide bomber to the police. "I don't think Muslims can co-operate with police," he said.

Yes, Anjem Choudary, the brave former lawyer, who is now "trying to prevent another 7/7". Anjem Choudary is so opposed to the atrocities of 7/7, that while relatives and victims were holding a memorial service in St Paul's Cathedral on November 1 last year, Choudary turned up on Sky News to taunt them (pictured).

Choudary spoke from his lair in Beirut, where he had fled to be with his hero, the bloated Omar Bakri Mohammed. He justified the 7/7 bombings by claiming they were "retaliation" for the UK troops being in Iraq. "It was also for the atrocities they have been committing in Iraq and Afghanistan and the support of the pariah state of Israel," he said.

Yes, Anjem Choudary is really working his fingers to the bone "trying to prevent another 7/7". Choudary designed a poster for al Ghurabaa which proclaimed that "Islamic Values" were: "worshipping Allah, honesty, charity, family values, morality."

He has certainly proved that he is either not a Muslim or is a natural born liar, for he certainly is no exemplar of either "honesty" or "morality". As a trained lawyer, lying seems to come naturally to him.

Choudary had fled Britain to be with Bakri, but was deported later that month. But just before Christmas, we reported on December 23 that Bakri had said before 7/7: "The mujahedin are everywhere. They are everywhere around, fighting. And don't worry, they are causing enough anarchy around the world to put everybody down on their knees. When it becomes anarchy, it becomes one....becomes 'nobody governs', becomes 'fight for your lives', and that is exactly what is going on around the world now."

"It's going to happen, but don't worry. You see, if it happens or don't happen, nothing can happen that deceives Allah. If Allah destines then it is going to happen. But take your precautions. Be aware."

Such comments, made when one has been thwarted or frustrated in one's ambitions, could be seen as actual threats, and could suggest that Bakri, Choudary and others had a hand in influencing the events of 7/7. Alternatively, in debating terminology, they are engaging in an "argumentum ad bacculum", where if you do not win your case, you tell the other person that he or she will "suffer later".

Either way, what we have seen here is that Anjem Choudary is consummately dishonest, and someone not to be trusted, under any circumstance. Anjem Choudary claims that he and his ilk are "trying to prevent another 7/7". Don't believe a word of it.
