US: Ohio Mosque Receives Threats

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that yesterday evening, the FBI was investigating a threat made against a mosque belonging to the Islamic Association of Cincinnati, also called the Clifton Mosque, on Clifton Avenue.

About 5 pm yesterday, someone phoned the mosque and made death threats against Muslims.

An official from the Cincinnati cell of the terrorist-supporting Council on American Islamic Relations said that the Clifton Mosque was remaining open for prayer, but security had been increased.

We reported last year when two pipe bombs had been set off at the same mosque on Monday 20 December.

The first pipe bomb had blasted a hole in the ceiling and roof of the porch, and had blown out a glass pane in the doorway. The second bomb had caused no damage.
