Muslim World: "Signs of Hope" Not All That's Cracked up to Be

Sometimes people hope when they shouldn't. This has been happenning during the on-going war between Israel and its enemies, but terrorists and terrorist-supporting states. Let me pick on Glenn Reynolds because--well--Glenn Reynolds is big, and picking on him makes me feel like a tough guy. Here is what he pointed out to as a 'hopeful sign': A peace plan...

I can see pigs flying. The conference of Arab foreign ministers in Cairo are not, as usual, arguing over Israel, they're discussing the legitimacy of Hezbollah. Saudi Arabia is leading the camp of ministers criticizing Hezbollah.

Sorry Mr. Reynolds--and everyone else pointing to this--but no can do. Saudi Arabia is upset because Hezbollah, 'the Party of God' is controlled by the infidels Shi'ites of Iran. They are not upset about Hezbollah per se; they are upset they are not the ones controlling the Jew murder, and reaping the popularity that comes with it in the Muslim world.

A few years ago, when I was still immersed in my research on Islam, I might have thought that Saudi's objections were a good sign. I've since learned the truth.

Thanks for stating what I've been thinking the past day or so.
