Iraq: Islamist Video Of Tortured US Soldiers Condemned

I have just seen the video, and I am literally feeling nauseous. I will describe it later, when I have had a cup of tea, because it is one of the most sick images to have come from jihadists.

The news is this. A video, purportng to come from Al Qaeda in Iraq, has been released, of the mutilated bodies of the two young privates, Thomas Tucker and Kristian Menchaca (pictured above, as they should be remembered). We reported on June 20 that the pair had been kidnapped on Friday, June 16 at a roadblock near Yusufiyah in the notorious "Triangle of Death". Their mutilated bodies, wired with explosives had been discovered that day.

Having just read a prayer from Pte Menchaca's family in Houston, penned while the family still hoped that he was alive, and before I saw the video, I am finding this even harder to write about.

The video has a logo of a man waving a flag, and a picture of Osama bin Laden, and there is someone ranting in Arabic, while religious chanting fills the background of the soundtrack. Pte Menchaca's body is face down, the backs of his legs have strips taken from them. The body of Pte Tucker is decapitated, but his blood soaked head is still recognisable. His lower body is virtually naked, what is left of it.

One of his arms has been removed. But his chest has been opened up, so that his ribs are exposed, and organs appear to have been removed. The flesh around the exposed ribs appears to have been burned. The video camera pans around, grotesquely looming in on the profile of Pte Menchaca's pulped face as he lays on his front. A jihadist lifts up Pte Tuckers severed head, then places it down on his corpse. Another jihadist places his foot on Pte Menchaca's shoulder and presses down, crunching the face further into the tarmac, on what appears to be a bridge.

More erratic lurching movements of the camera, and again, Pte Tucker's head is lifted up. Though the genitalia of Pte Tucker are pixellated out, they appear to have been mutilated. They are bloody, at least. Menchaca's body is rolled over, and the lower part of his face is pulped. His trousers are still intact, but there is blood on his groin too. His legs are, like those of Pte Tucker, apparently broken. Another jihadist tugs at the shoulder of Pte Tucker's remaining arm, and that seems broken, or half-severed.

And all the while, in this pornographic piece of necrophilic voyeurism, the Arabic voice rabbits on, with words like "mujahideen" and "Allah" coming through the repetitive droning, and in the nauseating swinging of the camerawork, the viewpoint becomes as sickening as its subject matter. And the chanting for Allah, like an over-repeated muezzin's call to prayer, is hypnotic, dulling the senses into submission.

I you really have the stomach for such fare, and I really do not have much stomach now, after recalling the barbarism of these motherf*ckers in "action", then the video can be found on Liberty Tunes. If you have never felt hate for jihadists, feel it now, knowing that this video will be gloated and cheered over by armchair mujahideen in Muslim ghettoes around the world.

I only hope to God that no friend, relative or companion of these two poor guys sees this. The video can be found HERE. I would advise you to exercise extreme caution.

There is only one note that is a relief here. Some reports stated that the two soldiers had their eyes gouged out. Maybe by the time the bodies were retrieved, these motherf*cker jihadists may have added further mutilations. Their delight in the display of horror rules nothing out. But at least in the video the soldiers' eyes were intact, and were not, as rumours had suggested, gouged out whilst they were still alive.

The video was released on an Islamist website, and was produced by the Mujahideen Shura Council. The video has been criticised by all who have seen it.

The Arabic words I could not understand were these: "We present this production, of the remains of the bodies of the two American soldiers kidnapped near Yusufiya, as revenge for our sister whose honour was violated by a soldier from the same regiment.'

"When the lions of monotheism heard about the news (rape), they remained silent because they did not want the news to spread and became determined to avenge their sister's honour; and God enabled them to capture soldiers from the same regiment."

This is the first time that the alleged rape of a girl by members of 502 regiment, now being dealt with through the proper disciplinary channels, has been mentioned by jihadists. It is an excuse. The jihadists killed these men precisely because they were American, and now try to dress up their barbarism in a cloak of self-rightous piety. Such is the Islamist way.

Excuse the bad language. The perpetrators of this sort of atrocity, mutilating the dead in the name of religion and sick propaganda, are beyond the realms of humanity. They exist in a sick Islamist bubble, thriving on a mindset that relishes all the bloodthirsty horrors perpetrated by Mohammed, the founder of their barbaric cult.
