Chechnya: Another Victory in the War Against Muslim Terror
Russia is winning its War Against Muslim Terror. Following news yesterday that the `president' of the self-declared Muslim Republic of Ichkeria, Abdul-Khalim Saidulaev, had been killed in a police raid, Russian media report the police have detained the `emir' of Grozny, Timur Gayev (pictured, in blindfold).
Police found him at a bus stop in Urus Martan, armed with a grenade, making it highly probable that he planned to blow up a bus and kill civilians, reported Newsru.
In the past 24 hours Russian police have detained four other Muslim militants. This campaign is part of a broader effort to finally break the 15-year Muslim insurrection in the small North Caucasus republic.
