Palestinian Abomination: Fatah Goes on Rampage Against the Hamas
More Red-on-Red from the wonderful Palestinian people and their peaceful religion: Fatah gunmen go on rampage in West Bank
JERUSALEM -- Palestinian gunmen from the Fatah movement of President Mahmoud Abbas went on a rampage against the Hamas-led government in the West Bank city of Ramallah on Monday night, shooting at the Cabinet and parliament buildings and setting them on fire. The attack by scores of armed men, many from the Fatah-dominated Preventive Security force, followed a deadly clash between Hamas gunmen and security officers in the Gaza Strip and signaled a spread of factional violence to the West Bank.
The rampage was the worst outbreak of internal unrest in the West Bank since Hamas defeated Fatah in legislative elections in January and raised new fears of possible civil war. It showed that Fatah was ready to take its confrontation with Hamas to its West Bank power center.
The unrest has been fueled by a power struggle between Abbas and the Hamas-led government that has focused on control of the security forces and Abbas's call for a referendum on a statehood plan that implicitly recognizes Israel. Hamas, whose charter calls for Israel's destruction, has rejected the referendum.[...]
Actually, the referendum does not implicitly recognizes Israel, it pretends to implicitly recognize Israel in order to obtain money to fight "the Zionist entity." In that, the Hamas should be commended for their honesty and forthrightness when it comes to their murderous, genocidal desires. It is unclear which side in the intra-Islamic power struggle taking place in Palestine will emerge victorious. Either way, the murder of Israelis will continue, for Jihad is eternal.
