Kenya: Islamic Banking to Begin in Kenya
Islamic Banking, the inefficient form of banking which imposes strange rules on banking so that interest can be collected while it seems no interest is being collected, is coming to Kenya: Kenya: Country to Have Islamic Banking in September
East Africans will from September benefit from Islamic banking services when a new Islamic bank is launched in Kenya. The bank will provide a wide range of shariah (Islamic law) compliant banking services once it is operational.
According to plans made available to The EastAfrican, the bank will in the first year of operations open branches in Nairobi and Mombasa, growing these to 14 in the next four years, targeting Muslim-dominated areas such as Malindi, Lamu, Wajir, Garissa and Mandera.[...]
The presence of a "Shari'a compliant bank" is bad news for Kenya's non-Muslims. Because Shari'a (Islamic Law) is an all-encompasing system that is never complete until it dominates every aspect of people's lives, Muslim and non-Muslim alike. Dark days will come to Kenya.
