UK: Pro-Islam MP Galloway Justifies Murdering Tony Blair

Smug ToadThe odious former best buddy of Saddam Hussein, the oleaginous MP of the "Respect" Party George Galloway, has made the headlines again in typical tasteless style. Following on from his cat impressions on Channel 4 TV's Big Brother, the 51 year old attention-seeker has made an outrageous claim in a magazine interview, states Agence France Presse via The Nation, the UK Sun and ITV.com.

His claim is that it would be "morally justified" for Tony Blair to be assassinated. He said a suicide attack against Britain's Prime Minister would be "morally equivalent to ordering the deaths of thousands of innocent people in Iraq as Blair did'.

Asked if a suicide attack against Blair would be justifiable, Galloway answered: "Yes, it would be morally justified. I am not calling for it, but if it happened I believe it would be of a wholly different moral order to the events of 7/7. It would be entirely logical and explicable. And morally equivalent to ordering the deaths of thousands of innocent people in Iraq as Blair did."

He added a caveat: "Such an operation would be counter-productive because it would just generate a new wave of anti-Arab sentiment whipped up by the Press."

The comments were made in GQ magazine, where he gave an interview to Piers Morgan.

One Labour MP, Stephen Pound, said of Galloway's remarks: "These comments take my breath away. Galloway is disgraceful and truly twisted. Every time you think he can't sink any lower he goes and stuns you again. It's beyond reprehensible to say it would be justified for a suicide bomber to assassinate anyone."

This week, Galloway was on TV with his new best buddy, Fidel Castro, to refute claims that Cuba's superannuated dictator had amassed a personal fortune while his subjects lived on the borderline of destitution.

If Galloway thinks that assassination is justifiable, we can only hope that his enemies in the Saved Sect, which is another name for the Saviour Sect will decide to justify some sort of action against him.
