Denmark: Murderous Muslims Are On Their Way
The lives of the 12 Danish illustrators, whose images of the so-called prophet Mohammed appeared in the newspaper Jyllands-Posten at the end of September last year, have not been full of fun, They have had to go into hiding, as a result of the death threats which have been made against them by Muslim maniacs.
Now, according to AKI, they may need to take extra precautions. Hamid Mir is the journalist who interviewed Osama bin Laden after the 9/11 attacks. According to al-Arabiya TV, Mir was taken to Waziristan, the troubled region of Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province, which is now in the hands of the "Pakistan Taliban" who are aided by the support of al-Qaeda activists.
In Waziristan, Mir met Abdullah Mahsud, the Taliban leader, and other of his followers. These told him that 12 members of al-Qaeda had left Afghanistan and entered Iran, with the intention of travelling to Denmark.
The men went on their mission of assassination after Osama bin Laden made a statement last week, ordering that the cartoonists be tried by al-Qaeda.
The potential assassins are three Pakistanis and nine Afghans. Mir said: "Some of them have Iranian passports and others have Afghan passports. I have been informed that some of them speak English very well and have completed training in the area of Zabul which is near Kandahar which was controlled by the Taliban. They are new al-Qaeda members who have also released a video in which they explain their mission."
The issue of the cartoons only became an international furore when the Palestinian-born Danish cleric Abu Laban and his Lebanese-born sidekick Ahmed Akkari took images of the cartoons, as well as three extra "fake" images on a tour of the Middle East, to drum up incitement. As a result of the Danish cleric's actions, at least 50 people have died in international unrest.
I wonder how Osama bin Laden would react to this cartoon?
