EU: Don't Say "Islamic Terrorism" Even If It's True
We reported back in September last year on a speech made by Franco Frattini, the EU's Commissioner for Justice, Freedom and Security, in which he made the following ludicrous statement:
"You cannot use the term Islamic terrorism. Islam is being misused. People who commit suicide attacks or criminal activities on behalf of religion, Islamic religion or other religion, they abuse the name of this religion. I have suggested to avoid calling it Islamic terrorism. It is very important, otherwise, we risk involuntarily of course other reaction which is also worrying and dangerous, a sentiment of Islamophobia. Diversity of religion and cultures is another value for the European Union. It is not a danger, it is not a threat."This PC idiot then went on to condemn the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, for portraying the so-called prophet Mohammed in cartoon images.
In January, another EU Quisling, Alvaro Gil-Robles, Commissioner for Human Rights, attacked Denmark for encouraging Christianity in its schools.
Now it seems the appeasing idiocy of Franco Frattini has infected EU policy. Both Reuters and the Khaleej Times today report that the European Union is anguishing about how to describe events where Muslim individuals threaten or carry out attacks against others. Apparently, even though these individuals are acting in the name of Islam, it is regarded now as "offensive" to describe their actions as "Islamic terrorism". Even though it is Islamic terrorism.
Currently, the mandarins in the EU are now working on a "lexicon" which will act as a guideline for describing terrorism and Islam, to remove any nasty stigma associated with misunderstood Muslims who blow people to pieces in the name of Islam.
One official said: "Certainly 'Islamic terrorism' is something we will not use ... we talk about 'terrorists who abusively invoke Islam'......You don't want to use terminology which would aggravate the problem. This is an attempt....to be aware of the sensitivities implied by the use of certain language."
EU chief of counter-terrorism, Gijs de Vries argued that there was nothing inherent in any religion that connected it with terrorism.
Gijs de Vries has obviously not considered the notion of Mohammed having all 700 male members of the Jewish Banu Qurayzah tribe decapitated in one afternoon in Medina, as an act of "terrorism". Or perhaps the EU mandarins would consider that action a simple case of harmless "Islamic banditry". The womenfolk of the tribe were subsequently distributed amongst Mohammed's lackeys as slaves, in an act of "Islamic charity".
Vries praised so-called "moderates" for stopping Islam from being "hijacked". He said: "They have been increasingly active in isolating the radicals who abuse Islam for political purposes, and they deserve everyone's support. And that includes the choice of language that makes clear that we are talking about a murderous fringe that is abusing a religion and does not represent it."
Words which may also need to be removed from common speech include "Islamist", "fundamentalist" and "jihad".
Jihad, as used by al-Qaeda and their ilk, means "Holy War", whereas its actual meaning is "struggle". I should here remind readers that the title of Hitler's book Mein Kampf also meant "my struggle".
The official from the EU explained: "Jihad is a perfectly positive concept of trying to fight evil within yourself". It is a shame this official and the mandarins in the EU do not apply such a "jihad" against their own evil within, the evil of appeasing and being politically correct.
A British Muslim barrister, Omar Faruk, who advises Blair's government on appeasement issues, discussed the phrase "Islamic terrorism", saying: "Those words cannot sit side by side. Islam is actually very much against any form of terrorism ... Islam in itself means peace."
Faruk is lying. The word "Islam" actually means "Submission", along the lines of "resistance is futile".
What Faruk is here employing is another word which is integral to Islam - taqiyya. Taqiyya means "lying to infidels". It is a term which means that, if it is in the best interests of propagating Islam, it is morally acceptable to lie to non-Muslims.
Well, we at Western Resistance, who formerly used words such as "Islamist" and "Islamic terrorism" have taken these guidelines to heart. Perhaps we should in future only use the expression "Muslim terrorists", as all those who flew into US targets on 9/11 and all those who ripped apart 52 people on 7/7 last year openly defined themselves as "Muslims."
