Eritrea: Muslims Jail 1,800 Christians for Faith
Inspired by the teachings of the 7th century Arabian warlord, Mohammed, righteous and dedicated Muslims in the east African nation of Eritrea have also launched their own effort to eliminate Christianity in their country.
Since Eritrea became independent from Ethiopia in 1993, the violent totalitarian cult of Islam has enjoyed a resurgence. In May 2002, President Isaias Afwerki closed all independent evangelical churches and refused to allow their members to meet anywhere for worship. Since the ruling Eritrean elite is full of righteous Muslim fervor, they went even further and began to arrest Christians who gathered in the privacy of their own home. About 1,800 Christian Eritreans now languish in prison for their faith.
While the current Muslim terror is preventing other brainwashed Eritrean victims of the Mohammed cult to flee its insidious grip on their lives, the Christians now in prison show no sign of caving in.
``One of the mothers was asked to visit them [the imprisoned Christians] and convince them to sign a document stating that they will practice `individual religion' but not together with other believers,'' says a recent report by the American Christian human rights organization, Open Doors. ``They were told that there are no restrictions in reading their Bibles and praying, but they were to do it individually and always on their own. Not one signed [the document], and they remain faithful.''
Christians are packed tight into cells that are 3 meters by 4 meters, while some are placed in dark, underground cells, and yet others are held in small metal containers that bake under the hot African sun.
Islamic efforts to eliminate Christianity and other religions in areas where Muslims dominate has been usual practice since the 7th century. The Islamic cult of Mohammed divides the world into two parts --- one that is controlled by the laws of Islam, where certain rules of `morality' apply; while the other part is under the control of the `infidel,' people who should be either converted or destroyed.

Where did you get this?
I am Eritrean and I am Christian. I am ashamed to see a Christian white lie like this. Why?
Jesus taught us to be honest and truthful. He taught us to be peace makers and not war mongers.
The god of the Westerners must be a greedy, bloody god. My bible calls him Lucifer.

In Eritrea, unlike anywhere else in the world, wherever you go you see a church and a mosque side by side. About 60% of churches in rural Eritrea are built after independence. The Eritrean church is growing fast after independence. I am a member of Eritrean Evangelical church and my church has grown three folds after independence.
What you are talking here is untrue. May God have mercy on you.
