Canada: Islamic Revisionism Run Amok
Judesocope has reprinted an article by one Minhaj Qidwai in which he argues for redefining "Freedom of Speech" and "Anti-Semitism." Redefining terms is a favorite tactic of those losing an argument. That is how a term like 'social justice' is used to corrupt the straightforward term 'justice', or how the term Democracy, initially meaning simply Government by the People, can mean many things, depending on the political agenda of the speaker. Minhaj Qidawi and other Muslims are trying to kill Freedom of Speech by re-definition; in their world, you wouldn't have the right to criticize Islam. You would be free to praise the unholy prophet to your heart's content. He is also trying to muddle the term anti-Semitism, in a disgusting attempt to hide the Muslim World's very real anti-Semitism. Here is a sample of his 'thinking':
The "Toronto Resolution" rejects the plea adopted by Jyllands- Posten for the publication of the cartoons. It demands for apology from the countries that have allowed derailing of the expression of "Freedom of Speech', and for redefining the word "anti-Semitism".It was a chilly day on Sunday Feb. 19th , when a protest rally took place in downtown Toronto at the Queens Park. It was not a political rally, but to show solidarity and love for the Prophet of Islam-Muhammad (SAW). Families and friends had been preparing banners and recollecting suitable slogans for this occasion, since the time the organizers had announced the rally. The afternoon with temperature in negatives, one could see all ages and races among the participants. Their body freezing in the cold winter of Toronto, but voice chanting slogans full of vigor and emotions. The gathering was in front of the legislative building for the province of Ontario, and a resolution was passed for the United Nations and Heads of States around the World, on that day by the Canadians who attended the protest.
