Islam Really Is a Religion Of Peace And Love

Well, we have been rather contemptuous in our coverage of Islam recently, and have not always presented good Muslims such as Osama bin Laden in a good light.

From the Noble Quran:

9:28, O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque.

9:29, Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

We have been arrogant enough to pour scorn on the Islamic injunctions against apostasy:

From the Sunan Abu Dawud:

Ikrimah said: 'Ali burned some people who retreated from Islam. When Ibn 'Abbas was informed of it, he said: If it had been I, I would not have them burned, for the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Do not inflict Allah's punishment on anyone, but would have had killed them on account of the statement of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him). The Apostle said: Kill those who change their religion. - Sunan Abu Dawud, Book XXXIII, Kitab al-Hudud.

We have even committed the mortal sin of illustrating the Messenger of Allah in a scandalous cartoon, which can be found here. We even had the outrage to use our low and disgusting standards of Western morality to cast aspersions on the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), and to use our cheap moral relativism to portray him as a paedophile:

Bukhari Hadith Vol VII, Book 62, Number 65:

"Narrated Aisha: that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: I have been informed that 'Aisha remained with the Prophet for nine years (i.e. till his death)."

Tabari Hadith: IX:131: (Aisha narrated)

"My mother came to me while I was being swung on a swing between two branches and got me down. My nurse wiped my face with some water and started leading me. When I was at the door she stopped so I could catch my breath. I was then brought in while the Messenger was sitting on a bed in our house. My mother made me sit on his lap. Then the men and women got up and left. The Prophet consummated his marriage with me in my house when I was nine years old."

We have portrayed the most Perfect Man who ever rode a horse into battle against the disusting kaffir, (the unbelievers), as a violent maniac.

Book 19, Number 2996:

Narrated Muhayyisah:

The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: If you gain a victory over the men of Jews, kill them. So Muhayyisah jumped over Shubaybah, a man of the Jewish merchants. He had close relations with them. He then killed him. At that time Huwayyisah (brother of Muhayyisah) had not embraced Islam. He was older than Muhayyisah. When he killed him, Huwayyisah beat him and said: O enemy of Allah, I swear by Allah, you have a good deal of fat in your belly from his property.

I used to wash the semen off the clothes of the Prophet and even then I used to notice one or more spots on them.

I heard Sulaiman bin Yasar talking about the clothes soiled with semen. He said that 'Aisha had said, "I used to wash it off the clothes of Allah's Apostle and he would go for the prayers while water spots were still visible on them.

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 229:

Narrated 'Aisha:

I used to wash the traces of Janaba (semen) from the clothes of the Prophet and he used to go for prayers while traces of water were still on it (water spots were still visible).

So now, we wish to offer our readers an apology. We are truly sorry for any offense we have caused by misrepresenting the Religion of Peace as a violent faith, founded by a paedophile mass-murderer.

And in our total sincerity, we will now refrain from insulting Mohammed (pbuh) or Allah (saw).

We will uphold this rule until American Eastern Standard Time at 1pm today.
