Pakistan: Boy Raped And Murdered In Mosque
The Daily Times reported on Friday that in the village of Pathankay at Hadyara, near Lahore, an eight year old boy was discovered in the toilet of a mosque, murdered and sodomised.
The child, whose name was Suhail, the son of a labourer, had been a student at a madrassa. He left his house on Tuesday to go and play with his friends around 11 am, and had been found in the mosque three hours later, after worshippers went to attend prayers.
His parents approved his body being sent for an autopsy. Investigators said that it seemed that he had been sodomised before his throat had been slit.
