Islamic Army in Iraq Executes US Christian Hostage

Tom Fox with Iraqi children in 2005Breaking news from Reuters states that the body of Tom Fox, one of the four Christian peace activists kidnapped last year by the previously unheard-of group calling itself The Islamic Army of Iraq, has been discovered in Iraq earlier today.

54-year old Mr Fox, of Clearbrook, Virginia, US was part of a group calling itself Christian Peacemaker Teams, was a full-time member of the organisation. With his three other companions, he had been kidnapped on 28 November.

US State Department spokesperson Noel Clay said in a press statement: "The FBI has identified the identity of the body of Tom Fox. The family has been notified and our heartfelt condolences go out to the family.

Yesterday, video footage of elderly British captive from the four-man group of hostages ws shown on Arabic television.

On December 19, another victim of the Islamic Army in Iraq was shown being executed in a video released on the internet. This man was Ronald Schulz, a 40-year old industrial electrician from Alaska. On 8 December, the Times reported that the Islamic Army in Iraq claimed that Mr Shulz had been killed.

Indeed, condolences to his family.

But let's not forget that The Christian Peacemakers Teams is nothing more than a group of apologists for Islamic Terrorism.

Mr. Fox's last post before Iraq was as a shill fo Palestinian terrorists who target innocent Israeli civilians, and who have American blood on their hands as well.
