UK: Whining Islamist Who Hates Britain, Subsidised By Tax-Payers' Money
Back in October we reported on the case of Zeeshan Siddiqui (pictured), from Hounslow, west London, who was in a jail in Peshawar, Pakistan. He had forged documents to allow him to overstay his visa, and been in prison for six months, since his arrest on May 15.
Siddiqui had been an associate of suicide-bomber Asif Hanif, who had killed three people in Mike's Bar in Tel Aviv, Israel in 2003. He also admitted meeting with Junaid Babar on two occasions in Pakistan. Babar, like Hanif, had links with now-disbanded UK Islamist group Al-Muhajiroun. Junaid Babar is accused of importing explosives into Pakistan for terrorist purposes, as we reported in September.
He told magistrates in Peshawar that he had travelled to Pakistan to attend a gathering held by Tablighi Jammat, a proselytising group which claims to be peaceful. This group is far from peaceful, as we discussed in November, when they mentioned their plans to build a giant mosque in London. According to Middle East Quarterly, this group has been involved with attempted coups and sponsorship of terrorist activities.
The Markazi mosque in Dewsbury, which was attended by Mohammed Siddique Khan, leader of the terror cell which carried out the 7/7 bombings, is funded and managed by Tablighi Jamaat, as we reported earlier.
Though never charged with terrorism offences, Siddiqui was interrogated by UK (MI6) and Pakistani intelligence operatives on at least three occasions, who wanted to know of his links to Shehzad Tanweer, one of the four suicide bombers who attacked London Transport on 7/7 last year. In a four-page letter sent to the UK Telegraph, Siddiqui denied any associations with Tanweer.
In January his lawyer, Mussarat Hiladi, claimed that during interrogations concerning his possible links to Al Qaeda, he was beaten so badly he lost the sight in one eye, and has only partial vision in the remaining eye.
On January 8, Zeeshan Siddiqui was deported from Pakistan, and flew back to Britain.
Now, Britain's Sun newspaper has tracked him down to a location at Heston, West London, where the 26-year old is living on state benefits, paid for by the UK taxpayer. The Sun makes some interesting claims. It states that formerly, Siddiqui had called London an "organ of the devil". He has also said he wants to be an Islamic martyr, and has called for all non-Muslims to be killed.
Pakistani cops caught him with phone numbers of al-Qaeda terrorists, an electrical circuit which could have been used to detonate a bomb and a venomous diary spelling out his desire for a jihad, or holy war.The Sun invited readers to send in their comments about Siddiqui, and they make for some interesting reading. Though regarded as only a tabloid newspaper, the Sun has recently proved itself to be remarkably astute in its coverage of Islamist individuals who live in British society and sponge off the state they wish to overthrow. The paper has certainly touched a sensitive nerve in the British public which appeasing organs such as the BBC refuse to acknowledge.Cops believed he was waiting to be dispatched as a suicide bomber but the case against him collapsed when several witnesses failed to come forward.
The Sun has learned that before heading off to Pakistan to study, Siddiqui once worked for Transport for London - which could have given him vital information on road and rail networks.
