UK: Muslims Angry At Added Ham In Halal Dinners

The Birmingham Mail and the BBC report of an incident which took place in a Worcestershire prison.

At Her Majesty's Prison Blakenhurst, near Redditch, a prisoner in the kitchens was caught throwing tinned ham into curries intended for Muslim prisoners. The Prison Service has said that the individual has been disciplined. In a statement, the Prison Service wrote: "All of the prisoners who ate any of the food were sent a letter of apology and imams were on hand to deal with any other issues."

But that is not enough to stop other Muslims exploiting the situation, and doing what Muslims do best - whining and getting angry.

One relative of a Muslim criminal, having visited the Category B prison, which holds 1,070 inmates, said: "He was very depressed and had lost a lot of weight because he has not been eating much since he found out what had happened with the curries. He feels he can't trust anyone again after finding out such a disgusting problem with the food."

The visitor's brother said "This has really messed up the heads of anyone who ate the unholy meat. Religion is central to any Muslims life and this shows total disrespect to our religion."

But of course, there is no mention about Muslims condemning those who broke the law. Though not housing ultra-violent offenders, a Category B prison still holds those convicted of serious offences.

There are an estimated 4,500 Muslim prisoners in jail in England and Wales, and all are molly-coddled by the establishment, with halal food provided for them, and special times set aside to let them hold prayers, as if these criminal bastards are pious and devout.

The prisoner throwing tinned ham into halal food was wrong, but so is the Prison Service for giving Muslims special treatment.

If a person does a crime, they should be prepared to do the time, and doing time should be a punishment, and should not become like a religious holiday camp.

If these "pious Muslim" criminals in prison had known they were going to get no special treatment, and had to eat the usual muck that is served to prisoners, then perhaps they would have taken more care, and made some effort not to break the law.

A criminal is a criminal, and not some bloody paragon of religious virtue. Mind you, if the Muslim faith was founded by a caravan-raiding murderer and paedophile, it is no wonder that so many Muslims fall foul of the law.
