UK: Mosque Has Its Windows Smashed
According to the UK Independent, a mosque in Swindon, Wiltshire, in the southwest of Britain, had windows smashed.
The vandalism was discovered on Wednesday when worshippers arrived for morning prayers. Mr Mansoor Khan of the Thames Down Islamic Association Centre claimed that the vandal(s) had acted out of ignorance. "The people who have done this do not have enough information," he said.
He said no protests had happened about the Danish cartoons of Mohammed in Swindon, but admitted that worshippers from the mosque had sent a petition of protest to the Danish Embassy.
Swindon has had mosques attacked before.
Perhaps Muslims do not realise this, but Wiltshire is a centre of pig-farming, as is Denmark. The name Swindon literally means "Swine Town". Why do Muslims want to live in places associated with haram, but delicious, pigs?
