Norway: Cartoon Issue Causes Skepticism Of Islam
Today's Aftenposten reports that in Norway, the current protests against cartoons has caused virtually half of those polled to say that they are now more skeptical about Islam.
A survey, carried out for Noway's best-selling newspaper, VG, and carried out by pollsters InFact, found 47.8% of respondents were more skeptical of Islam. 36.7% said their opinion had not changed after the cartoon protests. Only 6.5 % said they had become "less skeptical" about the faith.
30.8% said that they were now more mistrusting of Norwegian Muslims, though more than half (53.6%) replied that they were still holding the same opinions of Muslims in Norway, and only 6.8% said they were more trusting of this group.
70% of respondents said they thought that Norway-based Muslims would have a "harder time" following the international protests about the cartoons.

The more we in the West learn about Islam, the better educated and equipped we are when they begin nuclear provocation.
