Saudi Arabia: 23 Dead In Mecca Building Collapse

HajjBreaking news from Mecca - from AP via Turkish Press and Reuters, relates that a four storey building, which was being used as accommodation for the some of the millions present for the annual Haj pilgrimage, has collapsed.

Latest reports claim at least 23 people have been killed. The news was reported on Saudi state TV, which has claimed there are at least 39 people injured. The United Arab Emirates has already announced that four UAE nationals are among the dead.

AP quotes Al-Arabiya TV, which states that many of those in the collapsed building are UAE citizens. Updates will be posted here as more news arrives.
