Filth And Smut! Austrian Porn Posters Of UK Queen Shock!
A series of posters have appeared in Austria which feature one (pictured above), designed by Carlos Aires, a 31-year-old Spanish artist. They were commissioned to commemorate the nation taking over the role of the European Union presidency, succeeding Britain.
Done on a grant of 1 million Euros ($844,000 US) provided by the Austrian government, the posters were commissioned from artists in different countries. The whole story can be found in the Times.
But the image by Carlos Aires of the UK Queen in a threesome with President Chirac of France, and a mammaried George Bush with legs akimbo, is not causing as much fuss as an image by a Balkan artist, Tanja Ostojic. It is a pastiche of the painting Origin of the World by Gustav Courbet (1819-1877). Ms Ostojic's picture shows the thighs of a woman wearing EU star-spangled knickers. Be warned though, for the Courbet original, should you click, is sans sous-vetements, so to speak. The knicker poster is below. Excuse the exposing of flesh, which is not our usual policy, but it is almost the New Year. Season's Greetings!
The latest news is that these posters have now been withdrawn. What a waste of $844,000.....
