US: Department of Justice Launches Investigation in NSA Leak Scandal
Fox News reports the Department of Justice has launched an investigation to find the leaker or leakers who informed the New York Times about the "Domestic Spying" program run by the National Security Agency. The program, authorized by President Bush and reviewed by Congressional so-called leaders, allowed the NSA to intercept electronic communications initiated outside the United States by individual with known terrorist ties. Critics of the program claim it violates the U.S. Constitution's prohibition against "unreasonable searches". (My opinion on this: what's so friggin unreasonable about that. At any rate, if somebody wants to initiate a debate on this matter please do so in the comments.)
To conclude, I wish the Department of Justice the best of luck in finding the compulsive talkers who could not keep their mouth shut on a matter of crucial national security. The leaking culture should not stand; our citizens should not be slaughtered because some hyperventilating moralizers in Washington D.C. cannot understand what the U.S. constitution actually says.
