Australia: Muslim Leaders Claim "Race" Riots Won't Happen Again

Sure, and hogs dance ballet. At any rate, if this was a "race" riot, and not a religious confrontation, how come the Australian government in consulting Muslim leaders? Race riots will not recur: Islamic leaders

MUSLIM leaders believe Sydney has experienced the last of the race riots that erupted almost three weeks ago in Cronulla.

NSW Islamic Council spokesman Ali Roude told The Australian that consultation between community leaders, police and government meant there would not be a repeat of the ugly scenes at Cronulla beach on Sunday, December 11.

"We have been successful, at least for the time being," he said. "We are confident we have been successful that the riot that occurred on that day was the first and the last.

"We are comfortable that everyone is committed and we have proven to the international community in relation to the riots that we have been successful in repressing it, and repressing it for good."

While Muslim leaders have declared the violence over, the NSW Government is not as confident and considers New Year's Eve and Australia Day to be potential flashpoints.[...]

Of COURSE, riots will recur, both in Australia and in Europe. As I chronicled on my site, the majority of Australians are highly disillusioned with both `multiculturalism' and with the image they have been fed of the `Religion of Peace'.

The unrest in France has not exactly disappeared either..just quieted a bit.

The Australians will eventually have to deal with jihad in a forceful way..perhaps after a bit of domestic Islamic terrorism like the strike on the power plant that was narrowly averted.
