Lebanon: UN to "Debate" Findings of Hariri Investigation
It is now clear Syrian Dictator Bashar al-Assad ordered Hariri's murder. The real question becomes, does the UN has the will to do anything about it? UN to debate latest Hariri report
The United Nations Security Council is due to debate the latest report into the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.A UN inquiry team says it has fresh evidence to reinforce earlier findings of Syrian involvement in the murder.
It also repeats accusations against Syria of obstructing the investigation.
Damascus strongly denies any involvement in the killing, and insists it is co-operating with the inquiry.
Mr Hariri, who had called for the withdrawal of Syrian troops from Lebanon, was killed in a massive car bomb in Beirut in February.
