Iran: Senior Cleric Wants University Professors to Undergo Islamic Training
In case you have been watching the mainstream media and believing it, Iran has been radicalizing further, not becoming more moderate as so many of our clueless commentators have been predicting for years. Since the election of pigmy President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the Islamization of Iranian society has picked up speed. This is just the latest story in that trend: Uni. professors must receive Islamic training
Tehran, Iran, Dec. 01 - A senior Iranian cleric has called for all university professors to undergo Islamic training by the clergy.Ayatollah Mohammad-Taghi Mesbah-Yazdi made the call while meeting officials at the Ministry of Health.
Mesbah-Yazdi, who is the ultra-conservative ideological mentor of hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, also said that a project was underway for Islamic clerics to check all university books to ensure that all "un-Islamic" literature are filtered.
All right, let me just ask the obvious question: what happens if one of the professors forced to undergo Islamic "training" is not a Muslim?
