Cloud-Cuckoo Land: Bahrain Worries About "Dividing" Civilizations
Judeoscope points to a story that, once again, confirms my belief that some people have some nerve. According to Gulf News Online, the Government of Bahrain has warned that linking Islam with terrorism will "divide civilizations." (As if anything Islam has produced could rightfully be called a civilization.) Islamic terrorism itself, and its roots on Islam proper, apparently are not enough to divide "civilizations." Bahrain's support for Palestinian sucide bombers is not enough to divide civilizations either. So, there you have it. It is up to the people's of the West to avoid this terrible, terrible division of civilizations by refusing to realize that two plus two equals four. Because we can't have people linking terrorist acts with the terrorist ideology that is Islam.
