UK: Muslim Charged Under Terrorism Act

Rauf Abdullah Mohammed, aged 25 has today been charged with recording information which could be "of use to people planning or committing terrorist acts", states the BBC.

Arrested in south-east London on Wednesday (23 November), Mohammed will appear before Bow Street Magistrates tomorrow morning (Saturday).

The information which he recorded was done before 26 January, and is not thought to be related to the London bombings of 7/7 or 21 July.

This is all there is so far - updates will be added when news arrives.
According to the Scotsman:

Police said the man "on a date unknown prior to 26/01/05, without reasonable excuse, made a record of information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, contrary to S58 (1) of the Terrorism Act 2000".
