Indonesia: Islamist Arrested For Sheltering Noordin Top
According to Xinhua, an Indonesian anti-terror unit has arrested an individual believed to have sheltered Jemaah Islamiyah terrorist Noordin Mohamed Top who is still a fugitive.
The arrested man, Dwi Widyarto, aged 33, has been on the run since November 9, when police launched their largest counter-terror operation so far.
As well as being accused of harbouring Noordin Top, Dwi is further accused of involvement with the Bali restaurant bombings of October 1 this year.
Dwi was apprehended at a mosque in Semarang, the capital city of Central Java, just after dawn on Wednesday.
Three other militants, Fatkhurrahman, Bukhori and Yasin Al-Reza, were arrested from Pekalongan, Central Java on November 17. They are believed to have been involved with the suicide-attack upon the Australian Embassy in Jakarta on September 9, 2004.
