Austria: Vienna Mosques Get Extra Security
A report from XinhuaNet states that early on Thursday, a bomb went off outside a building in Vienna, which is used by Muslims for payer-sessions.
The bomb was homemade, and blew out windows and damaged the first floor of the building. No-one was hurt in the blast. Gert Zander, an official from the police anti-terrorism unit, said the type of explosives used in the bombing were still unknown, as was any clear information on the perpetrator of the attack.
Vienna has 60 mosques. Extra police officers will be patrolling around these buildings as a routine security measure.
