Malaysia: Murder At The Mosque
A surprising discovery was in store for worshippers at the Masjid Jamek Ungku Tun Aminah, a mosque in Kampung Pasir on Thursday morning, states the Star. Worshippers were filing out from the mosque after saying their subuh, or morning prayers when they found a body, freshly dead and still bleeding, lying outside.
The body belonged to a man, and from appearances the man had been badly beaten. He was discovered by the congregation around 6 am. The man was not from the village.
During the morning prayers, no-one inside had heard any commotion or sounds of a disturbance, but as one worshipper said: "With the loudspeakers on, it was quite hard to hear anything else."
Police announced that a suspect for the man's murder was arrested about an hour later.
