Australia: Muslim Party Leader Supports Killing of Foreign Troops in Iraq

Kurt.jpgThe controversial founder of an Islamic party in Australia is Kurt Kennedy, a Vietnamese convert to Islam (pictured). According to News.com.au, Kennedy has been wanting to know if it is officially sedition under Australia's planned terror laws to support the killing of Australian citizens in Iraq.

He brought up the question on ABC Radio, where he stated that it was within every Iraqi's right to kill Australian soldiers in Iraq. He wanted to know if this was seditious.

Mr Kennedy set up the Best Party of Allah after he lost when standing in the ACT elections last year. ACT, or Australian Capital Territory is a "mini-state" in Australia, comprising Canberra and its environs. The Best Party of Allah claims to have 100 members in ACT and more beyond the state. Kennedy wishes to have the party registered federally.

Kennedy caused controversy in September this year, when he said that Sharia law would be the best law for Australians to live under, as part of the "Best Paty" manifesto. Dhimmiwatch quoted an article from the Australian (now deleted) which related Kennedy's vision for the Islamic future of Australia, in which he said :

"The positive part of sharia law is (about) treating everybody fairly," he said. "I don't think anybody should have any worries about it.

"If they read through the Koran, there's nothing there that will threaten them or threaten their personal life or property."

The issue of sedition being potentially illegal in the quoted context may be the reason that Kennedy, who gained a law degree in 1996, has withdrawn a page from his party's website, entitled "national policies". We at Western Resistance always strive to give you the fullest picture, so this is an extract from that now-deleted page:
Islamic militancy has only always been used as a defensive measure, and never an attacking measure. The oppressed 'insurgents' kill invading troops in return for the killing of their relatives by invading troops. We wonder when the insurgency will stop? The insurgency will not stop until the invaders acknowledge their mistakes, apologise, compensate, leave (with tails between their legs just as they have left Vietnam) and be punished for their crimes.
Mr Kennedy, who also calls himself a "composer" has two sons. His candidacy remit for the 2004 ACT elections is (unintentially) hilarious. His manifesto pledge said that it was everyone's right to dig their own wells, and asked for more fruit trees to be grown, because "fruit trees are valuable".

The real hilarity comes from an article he wrote there, about his name. He said his Chinese name, Tong Dinh Khoa, meant "to reside in extensive learning", his Arabic name meant "Extensive Learning to be a servant of the gracious", but the howler came in his explanation of his usual name, Kurt Alim Kennedy, which means "Bold counsel, acquiring extensive learning and helmet head". I kid you not. In Britain, the term "helmet head" means "dick head".
