Israel: Hadera Blast Claims Sixth Life
On Wednesday October 26, a blast ripped through Hadera market in northern israel, in a suicide bombing carried out by Abu-Zayed, an operative of Islamic Jihad.
Now, according to Arutz Sheva, a sixth victim who was caught in the blast has died. 66 year old Genya Polis had been in the market that Wednesday with her husband, Vitali. Last night Mrs Polis lost her battle for life in Hillef Yafeh hospital, Hadera. Vitali is still in the hospital, with "moderate' wounds. They have one son, Leonid.
26 other people were injured in the attack, four of them seriously.
We always hear of the names of the evil-doers who commit suicide attacks. These are the names of those who died in the Hadera assault:
According to Arutz Sheva, 280 Israelis have been killed in terrorist assaults since the "Road Map for Peace" was adopted in June 2003. The death toll averages out at 10 people per month.Yaakov Rachmani, 68
