UK: Islamist Taunts Families of 7/7 Bombings
Yesterday evening, a service of remembrance was held in St Paul's Cathedral, London, for the victims of the London Transport bombings of 7/7. The inter-faith service, in which four giant candles, representing the four attacks of that day, were brought from all four wings of the cathedral featured clerics from all major faiths. The service was attended by victims' families, survivors, the Queen, Prime Minister, and members of the emergency services who were helping victims on that day.
At the same time, on Sky News, a British supporter of terrorism, was appearing on television, mocking them. Anjem Choudhary used to lead Al-Muhajiroun, the Islamist group associated with more than one terror attack in Israel, (the suicide bombing at Mike's Bar Tel Aviv in 2003) which was disbanded last year, was speaking from Beirut, according to the Sun.
Choudhary appeared on the notorious BBC Saviour Sect report from August 1, where he was shown saying that the attacks upon the twin towers in 9/11 was "magnificent". Anjem Chaudhary is UK born, and was trained as a lawyer, but has fled the country since the Saviour Sect and its partner Al-Ghurabaa were revealed as supporters of terrorism in September this year.
Choudhary has joined Omar Bakri Mohammed, the fat "spiritual leader" of Al-Muhajiroun in his Lebanese enclave. On Sky News, Choudhary stated that 7/7 bombings were "retaliation" for the UK troops being in Iraq. "It was also for the atrocities they have been committing in Iraq and Afghanistan and the support of the pariah state of Israel," he said.
A short interview in RealPlayer can be found of an interview he earlier gave to the BBC after 9/11, HERE.
