UK: 7/7 - Remains of Remaining Muslim Murderers Can Be Released

We brought you the news that Shehzad Tanweer was buried by his family two days ago. Tanweer's body, or what was left of it, was the first to be allowed back to the families. Now, according to the Times the remains of the other members of the bombing cell which unleashed their explosives on unsuspecting London Transport passengers, killing 52, have been officially released by the coroner at Camden.

Mohammad Siddique Khan,30, Hasib Hussain,18, and Germaine Lindsay, the Jamaican living in Aylesbury, have provided all the forensic information that is possible, and now are to be given back to their relatives for burial, upon the families' requests. Traditional Muslim burials should take place within 24 hours, to coincide with Islamic custom. Such is the hatred felt for the killers that Whitehall has said the bodies will probably be buried abroad, due to fears of vandalism if interred on UK soil.

Joshua Rosenburg in the Telegraph has stated that the family of Mohammed Siddique Khan, the 30 year old teaching assistant, have asked for his body (which is contained in 52 bags at Westminster Coroner's Court) to have a second post-mortem carried out. They wish for his remains to be retained in storage until a pathologist can examine them. Their solicitor was unavailable for comment, and it is unclear what a second post-mortem is likely to yield.

The Telegraph claims that Dr Andrew Reid, the Inner London Coroner has already released the other bodies, and Dr Paul Knapman, the Westminster Coroner, have completed their reports. Shehzad Tanweer has already been buried, but his grave is presently being guarded by police, lest it become a shrine for Islamic militants.
