Germany: Four Islamists Imprisoned
From Le Monde - breaking news. The following is my poor translation from the French:
Al-Tawhid Case: Prison For Four Men Linked to Zarqawi
Four Islamists linked to the chief of the Al-Qaeda in Iraq cell, the Jordanian Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi, have been condemned today to terms of five to eight years imprisonment for having planned attacks on Jewish interests in Germany.
Three Palestinians or Jordanians of Palestinian origin, Abu Dhees, Ismail Shalabi and Ashraf Al Dagma, were found guilty of preparing these attacks which would have taken place in Dusseldorf and Berlin in 2001, were given the heaviest penalties: six to eight years in prison.
The fourth, Algerian Djamel Moustafa, who was judged to have helped the three others to plan these attacks, was condemned to five years' in prison.
