New Zealand: Mosque Attacker in Court

A man who, after the London 7/7 bombings, rampaged against Islamic presence in Auckland, breaking windows and desecrating seven mosques and Islamic cultural centres, has appeared in court yesterday, according to Stuff.

19 year old Jason Paul Molly, unemployed, pleaded guilty at Nelson District Court to seven charges of intentional damage. He will be sentenced next month. The court was told that between July 7 and 9, Molloy and an associate smashed windows and spray-painted "RIP London". The prosecutor, Chris Stringer, said Molloy had an involvement with the National Front, a right-wing nationalist party.

Molloy has been bailed to appear at Manakau District Court on 29 November to receive his sentence, conditional upon him not associating with either the National Front or his co-accused, and remaining no less than 50 metres from a mosque or Islamic premises.
