Ted of Phylax, our correspondent on Greek affairs, has launched the Turania Warblog to keep us updated on the struggle to keep Turkey out of the European Union.
There is no more important front in the battle to resist Islamization of the West than that of keeping Turkey out of the EU. Should Turkey ever become a member of the EU, it may very well spell the end of Western civilization. Think I'm being overly dramatic? Well, consider that Turkey used to have a large, rich and vibrant society made up of Armenian Christians and various other religious/ethnic tribes until the Ottoman Empire slowly killed and drove them all off over the course of their rule. In 1915, Turkey launched a full-scale genocidal campaign which wiped out 1.4 million Armenians in the span of eight years in an effort to create another Islamic paradise free of non-Muslims. Turkey is currently 99% Muslim as a result.
As a matter of fact, the pattern of most countries with a high population of Muslims is to slowly choke off Christian, Jewish, Pagan and Hindu populations using methods of persecution, genocide and discriminatory laws until there are only Muslims left. This is what happened to the predominately Christian/Jewish/Pagan societies in the Middle East before the Muslims conquered the area, this is what happened in Pakistan and Bangladesh and this is what is currently going on in India, Philippines, Bosnia, Thailand, Malaysia, Kashmir, Nigeria, Sudan and a host of other countries in Africa.
Of course there are a several other problems with Turkey’s entry into the EU besides Islamic countries’ abysmal record of pluralism but that’s why you should follow the Turania Warblog.
