English Flag Banned from English Prison

If there was an award called "Dhimmi of the year", for the person who most willingly grovels before his or her Islamic Overlords, Ann Owers would be a strong contender. Ms. Owers is England's Chief Inspector of Prisons has chastised prison staff for wearing... pins of England's flag: Prison bans Cross of St George tiepins

Prison staff have been told to stop wearing Cross of St George tiepins because they could be "misinterpreted" as a racist symbol.

Anne Owers, the Chief Inspector of Prisons, was "concerned" to see a number of officers at Wakefield jail in Yorkshire wearing the tiepins, apparently in support of a cancer charity.

"There was clear scope for misinterpretation," she says in a report on the prison published today. "Prison Service orders made clear that unauthorised badges and pins should not be worn." As one of her recommendations, she adds: "Staff should not wear unauthorised pins."

Listen Lady, it is the friggin flag of your friggin country. If "somebody" (read: Muslims) find it offensive, tough. They can move to a country featuring the color green and a crescent in its flag, there are plenty of those.

But there is more. Here is the same story from CNN: Race fears spark St. George ban

[...]Chris Doyle, director of the Council for the Advancement of Arab-British Understanding, said Tuesday the red cross was an insensitive reminder of the Crusades.

"A lot of Muslims and Arabs view the Crusades as a bloody episode in our history," he told CNN. "They see those campaigns as Christendom launching a brutal holy war against Islam.

"Muslim or Arab prisoners could take umbrage if staff wore a red cross badge. It's also got associations with the far-right. Prison officers should be seen to be neutral."

Doyle added that it was now time for England to find a new flag and a patron saint who is "not associated with our bloody past and one we can all identify with."

Remember; they look not to assimilate, nor to co-exist, but to conquer us.

There is something about a cross that just makes Muslims want to get upset, or even launch into kill-mode. Take Red Cross hospital vans, fired at by Muslims in warzones. And in my local branch of the "Red Cross" charity bookshop, staff will not stock Christmas Cards, for fear of offending people of non-Christian faiths - i.e. Muslims. Maybe they should change their name too, before they end up in a lawsuit....
