Pakistan: 12-Yr Old Christian Girl Gang-Raped in Conversion Attempt
After the sickening Bali incident, another item to make one nauseous. In today's WorldNet Daily, in Rawalpindi near Islamabad, a 12 year old Christian girl was allegedly raped by 16 men who tried to convert her to Islam. Sara Tabasum had been taken by the group, but managed to escape a fortnight later while they were "on the move". She jumped from a moving vehicle and managed to return to her family.
AT the end of June, a Muslim couple, Babar Bibi and his wife Perveen rented an apartment next door to the Tabasum's house. According to the All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA), it soon became clear that the Bibis, whose front door was shared with the Tabasum famiy, were running a brothel. When Sara's parents complained to the apartment complex's owners, the Bibis were given eviction notices. Perveen Bibi threatened that there would be "consequences." The Bibis moved their business to another part of the city. But on Sept 5, when Sara went out one night to buy bread, she was abducted by her former neighbours, accompanied by two men. She had a cloth soaked with "intoxicant" placed on her mouth and fainted.
Sara recovered in the Bibi's new home, and was raped by Babar Bibi and two males. Mrs Bibi told Sara that if she embraced Islam, she would be "saved." The 12 year old refused, was beaten and transferred to another house, where five men raped her again. She was told by Perveen Bibi to recite the Shahada to escape the punishment, and Mr Bibi even claimed to have killed her brother Suleman and made her mother become a convert. She was threatened that it would be better to become a Muslim, or be killed or forced to work as a prostitute.
