US: NY Mosque Has Assets Frozen

A report from the Pakistan Daily Times claims that a mosque in New York, frequented mainly by Pakistani and Bangladeshi worshippers, has had its assets frozen, and the personal accounts of its chief administrator, imam Hafiz Piracha, sealed. The administrators of the Al-Falah Mosque in Corona district were so unaware of any moves made against them by federal investigators that it was only when they went to their bank that they realised what had happened. Because they had preaching delegations from around the world visiting the mosque, sources said, the federal authorities had been monitoring the situation for a year. No arrests have so far been made.
