Swedish Mosque set Ablaze
Malmo in Sweden, 382 miles south of Stockholm, has a high concentration of Muslims living there, and this has fostered great resentments. There have been numerous reports of rapes and other attacks made against the non-Muslim indigenous community. Early this morning, it appears that some sort of reprisal has taken place.
YnetNews reports that a mosque in Malmo has caught fire, in what appears to be a case of arson. Police spokeswoman Marie Keismar has stated :"It was most probably the work of an incendiary". The mosque is the third largest in Malmo. It was empty at the time, and only minor damage had been caused by the time firefighters extinguished it.
